With the Maelstrom still sending out corrupted minifigs to destroy imagination, the Nexus Force is always in need of more minifigs to help stop them! The Sentinels, Assembly, Paradox, and Venture League factions are all looking for creative recruits with strong imaginations to come up with new and creative ways to stop the Maelstrom before they destroy more LEGO Universe worlds. Welcome to the first LegoUni.com creativity contest! Our contests will test your creativity and imagination, just like in LEGO Universe! Hopefully there will be many more to come in the future!

In this contest, you will need to choose one of the four LEGO Universe factions: Sentinels, Assembly, Paradox or Venture League. Once you've chosen your favorite faction, you will need to think of a creative and useful object or building that you think would help your specific faction in the battle against the Maelstrom. Be sure to keep to your faction's theme! If you need a description of what a certain faction is all about, feel free to make a post in this thread to ask!

All contest entries should be posted here in this thread. They can include pictures (preferably made by you!) of real LEGO creations, drawings, or from the LEGO Digital Designer. Entries can also be text descriptions of you're not able to post a picture! The contest will run until Wednesday, August 3rd - Please have entries in before midnight Pacific time!

The most creative and unique item from each faction will be given the grand prize of a LEGO Universe Beta Key and a special forum title relating to your faction! Under the circumstance that the grand prize winner already has a Beta invite, the runner up will be given the key! In addition, three runner-ups from each faction will also get a special forum title!

I'd like to encourage everyone to participate in the contest to flex those creativity muscles! What are you waiting for?

Gnarled Forest is a world in LEGO Universe where you can battle Maelstrom-infected minifigs and fight to save imagination. In this zone, you'll find several swashbuckling pirates and the Venture League - a section of the Nexus Force dedicated to exploring and finding ways to defeat the Maelstrom with bravery and strength.

As you explore through the forest, you'll find many new and exciting things that set this area apart from the rest of the Universe, including X's from quick building that hide neat little surprises with the help of your favorite pets. Speaking of pets, they're very abundant here. You can tame pets like warthogs, elephants, and turtles along with a few others that take some exploring to find. What new adventures will you find?

As many of you know, LEGO Universe has been only for PC's and only english in the beta phase, but now this is all about to change!

Sounds like a lot of stuff happening this week for beta!

LegoUni is about to get much bigger! We've recently merged with another forum website, (LegoUniverseForums.com) and we have a new Admin and Moderator that will be joining us! If you were a member there, you will need to make a new account! When all of those new members come in, I'd like everyone native here on LegoUni to give them a warm welcome!

We also have some new and exciting things coming up this week, but I'd like to keep that a surprise for everyone. Make sure you keep an eye out around Sunday for a big surprise, especially those of you who haven't been in the beta test!

One last thing! I'm trying very hard to get some of you members who aren't in the beta the chance to see LEGO Universe before it releases! That's right! I've been talking with Ryan Seabury about getting some extra beta keys! More news on that when I hear back! Those of you who aren't in the closed beta test currently should make a post in the LEGO Universe Discussion board so I know who could use one -if- I get them!

Good morning, everyone! I'm so glad to see that the forums have been very active lately and I'm glad to announce we've hit 400 members! I hope to see the site explode after release with the many fantastic guides we're working on. I'd like to give a huge thanks to Jayko and Lalror for their fantastic screenshots and tips they've given the site so far!

Also, I know many of you are in different countries across the world. To those who are taking part, I'd like to say Happy 4th of July and enjoy the fireworks! For everyone else, I hope you enjoyed your weekend!
